The Coffee Cup Solution

If you read my blog post yesterday you may recall my complaint about having nowhere to set my coffee cup when I sat on my couch. You may also recall that I went and found some pallets after that. Well, today we finished the first palette shelf. My sister and I spent a couple of hours this morning sanding it down and smoothing all the edges so we wouldn't get slivers. Then this evening my dad helped me attach the shelf and the edges to the top of it. I did not do too many photos of the process, but here are a few along the way, and the finished product in its spot.
