Walking on Water
One of the great things about winter is the part where you can walk on water. One of the lakes we walk around quite frequently has a little island off in one corner. I've always been curious about it. Unfortunately, the lake itself is not particularly vehicle accessible, so carrying my canoe down would definitely be a two person job. Really though, I should do it next summer.
Anyway, now that it is frozen, you can walk over to the island. So we did today. The dogs enjoyed sniffing all the new sniffs, and I had fun exploring the very small bit of land and then walking the rest of the way across the lake.
