Things I love: Podcasts
I subscribe to 10-12 different podcasts, but there is only a few that I default to when I'm looking for something to listen to besides music. I like to listen to podcasts on long drives, when I’m cleaning my kitchen, or spending long hours editing photos.
Here are a few of my favourite podcasts, and why I like them.
This is a podcast by Nigel Warburton and David Edmonds that concisely explores
I love listening to British accents.
I also love listening to and thinking about the existential questions of philosophy.
Nigel Warburton and David Edmonds do a great job of asking challenging questions and playing the devils advocate very politely.
Episodes are fairly short and quick, rarely longer than 20 minutes.
This is a podcast by Elizabeth Gilbert based on the concepts in her book Big Magic.
This is like an extra content to go along with the awesome book Big Magic.
Elizabeth Gilbert is so good at motivating and encouraging people.
This is a podcast by Will Evans. He interviews farmers about a variety of agriculture-related topics. Many of the farmers are from the British Isles, but he also interviews farmers from other parts of the world.
Frank, informative view of farming life around the world.
He's very passionate about farming.
This is an old series of podcasts by Iain Stewart. It hasn't been updated in a few years, but I've listened to them all over and over.
Iain Stewart has an amazing voice.
Iain is a talented storyteller and I can very vividly imagine what he describes.
The history and stories he tells about the places are amazing.
