6/365 Aftermath

We had a short but intense thunderstorm this afternoon. It brought with it a bit of hail which managed to detach the last withering petals from my oriental poppy.

I was driving home at the end of the storm, heading straight west into the city, wipers on as fast as they would go, and the sun shining directly into my windshield. I don't know if I've ever driven in a more blinding situation. The intensity of the sun off the insane amount of water on the road and coming down on my windshield was crazy. Fortunately the rain let up pretty quickly, but I was still seeing colored shapes and dots in my vision for a few minutes after.

Cheers,
Bri
