Lake Fun!

This past weekend I was back home in Lacombe. A client/friend of mine, Todd of Schafer Homes Construction, is an avid slalom water skier who competes. So on Sunday morning, I dragged my butt out of bed at the crack of 6:00 am to head out to the lake. I spent a couple of hours sitting in the boat, shooting non stop while he and a friend skiied. I think I came away with about 650 pictures!

Towards the end of the morning the local Loons woke up, and they were NOT thrilled with us. They were irritated with us in their lake, and they sure let us know. They squawked at us, and actually appeared to be going after the guys if they were sitting in the water. They came within probably 5-10 feet of the boat, I don't think I've ever seen loons that close before!
